A single closed-cell sheet of cross-linked PE foam delivers thermal insulation, waterproofing, and sound control at once, which makes it a dependable material across modern construction and home-appliance assemblies. The same foam works from roof and wall systems through to floating floors and artificial-turf shock pads, keeping buildings quieter, drier, and more energy efficient.

Pre-engineered steel buildings, factories, warehouses, and logistics sheds gain and lose heat fast through their metal roof and wall sheets. A closed-cell cross-linked polyethylene foam, laminated with a reflective aluminium foil facing, is fixed under or over the metal deck to cut solar heat ingress, lower the cooling load, and stop condensation forming on the underside of the roof. The same foam works behind wall cladding to reduce thermal transmission through the building envelope, while the closed-cell structure dampens rain drumming and ambient noise. The result is a cooler, quieter, more energy-efficient working space that installs fast in long, low-waste rolls.

Across the automotive industry, foam earns its place by delivering NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) control and weight reduction in a single component. Our cross-linked polyolefin foams go into door panels, air ducts, headliners, sunvisors, sealing tape, and floor mats, helping manufacturers hit lightweighting targets while improving acoustic and thermal comfort inside the cabin.

With its low thermal conductivity, cross-linked polyolefin foam is a natural fit for HVAC systems. It insulates air ducts and large-diameter air-conditioning pipes against both heat loss and noise, wraps hot and cold water lines around the building, and uses its closed-cell wall to stop surface condensation while holding energy losses down across the whole run.

Closed-cell polyethylene foam makes a stable, heat-insulating carrier for adhesive tapes used across building, automotive, and industrial sectors. One foam chemistry carries through industrial, electronic, and medical-grade tapes, and can be supplied in a flame-retardant grade when codes or specifications call for it.

Static-sensitive electronics need a cushion that guards against impact and electrostatic discharge at the same time. Our conductive IXPE grade is permanently anti-static, environmentally friendly, and odourless, and it supports glue-free heat-bonded processing, which makes it a dependable choice for protecting components, boards, and devices in storage and transit.

The shock absorption of closed-cell PE foam makes it a reliable packing material for delicate, fragile, electronic, medical, heavyweight, and high-value goods. The same foam can be die-cut or moulded into cap gaskets where a seal is needed, so one material serves as both protective cushioning and a functional seal in a single assembly.

The uniform cell structure of soft XPE and IXPE foam, set in a cross-linked network, delivers consistent shock absorption while keeping the firmness a finished product needs to perform. That balance carries across camping and water sports through to play and sleep mats.
